It is known that the best position to sleep in is the side but studies have shown that the worst sleep position that one could sleep in is on the stomach. Sleeping on the stomach can cause a number of health issues including neck pain, stomach issues, and acid reflux. These issues alone should turn away anyone who wants to sleep on their stomach.
There are many of those who sleep on their stomach not knowing the consequences. Experts recommend that individuals change their sleep position to allow the body to have better sleep throughout the night and reduce risk for serious side effects.
