Many individuals take supplements to boot their immunity or prevent onsetting diseases. However, some of these supplements do more harm than good. These two supplements in particular are know for raising stroke risk by nearly 20%.

Research has shown that taking calcium and vitamin D supplements together increases stroke risk by 17%. During the study, a large number of the participants ended up getting a stroke due to the supplements while the rest of the group had a in increase in stroke risk by a large number. The researchers have stated that the benefit of combing these two supplements do not outweight the risk that is included.

Calcium and vitamin D are some of the most common supplements people take and some even take these two supplements together. Although there are some benefits to these supplements. The overall risk factor is enough to outweigh any benefit these two supplements provide together.
