Many people enjoy orange juice without knowing the amount of benefit that it could provide to a person. Those with high blood pressure are in luck, orange juice can help lower blood pressure over time.
A recent study showed that 2 servings of orange juice per day can decrease blood pressure by a significant amount over time. This is due to the flavonoids that are in the orange juice. They fight off free radicals throughout the body and protect cells from any damage.
Other fruit juices can do this as well but they are not as effective as orange juice. Other juices such as tomato juice and beet juice can help one lower their blood pressure if they do not enjoy drinking orange juice.
