They state that these should not be consumed regularly for being high in calories, saturated fat, salt and have added ingredients like nitrates. These ingredients can have a negative effect on the body if they are consumed regularly.

Eating processed meats can lead to cancer due to the contents that are included in them. Heart health will also fail as time passes if one continues to regularly eats processed meats.
