A recent study suggests that cheese can strongly reduce dementia risk in seniors. The study was taken over a span of 10 years with over 1,000 participants. The results show that those who ate cheese everyday had a decreased chance of developing dementia in the future. When cheese was paired up with a healthy diet, the chances for developing this disease were even lower.
Many experts recommend that seniors and aging adults do whatever they can to reduce their dementia risk and promote a healthy lifestyle for long-term health. Foods that can reduce inflammation are great for reducing dementia risk.
